Electrical and Installation Technician

You will build and maintain unique installations that help us ensure a cleaner environment. You’ll do this both in our workshop and at project sites in the Netherlands and abroad.

What do you do as an Electrical and Installation Technician at HMVT?

Do you have a passion for technology, unique installations, and do you want to contribute to a cleaner world? Then this job is definitely for you. At HMVT, we build unique in-house installations for purifying air, water, and soil. We do this for industrial clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. As an Electrical and Installation Technician, you will work with your colleagues on the design, preparation, assembly, and maintenance of our installations. You will do this in our workshop but also regularly at project sites both in the Netherlands and abroad. During the preparation, assembly, and maintenance phases, you will work extensively with electronic measurement and control systems. Of course, we offer you the space and guidance to discover and develop your skills in our techniques and approaches.

Things you enjoy doing:

  • Working on unique installations for the purification of air, water, and soil contamination;
  • Regularly working at various project locations in Western Europe;
  • Attending professional training and courses to expand your knowledge;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to build and leave behind a perfectly functioning installation for our clients;
  • Solving bottlenecks and unforeseen issues.

Who will you work with?

You will work closely with our project managers, planners, and fellow technicians. It’s a friendly team, but we set high standards. We are critical and communicate directly, openly, and honestly, always with the goal of delivering the best end product as a team.

What you bring:

  • MBO-level work and thinking, preferably a completed technical education in electrical or control technology;
  • Interest in technologies that improve the environment and our living surroundings;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • You work meticulously and don’t like half measures;
  • Strong social and communication skills.
