Soil remediation
Thermal remediation
Thermal remediation is one of the most reliable and rapid remediation technologies we have to offer. A suitable solution for those who want to achieve high remediation efficiencies - up to 99.9% - and want the certainty that contamination with VOC, VOCl or PACs is maximally removed from the soil.

The benefits of thermal remediation
During thermal remediation, the soil is heated. Volatile contaminants are removed from soil and groundwater based on temperature. Vapors released are captured and treated above ground. Clay layers and even rocks can also be remediated with thermal remediation.
The remediation task
HMVT uses thermal soil remediation for applications in which contamination concentrations (such as VOCls, VOCs and PACs) are high and the remediation objective is low. Thermal remediation is perfect for those applications where low remediation values have to guaranteed and liability has to be transferred. In addition, thermal remediation is also extremely suitable for removing pocket layers of pure product.
The biological techniques we use
At HMVT we work together with TRS Group Inc., a thermal soil remediation specialist from the United States, for our thermal remediation projects. With our joint venture TRS Europe we provide thermal remediation solutions for the European market. With techniques such as Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) and Conductive Heating, HMVT carries out thermal renovation projects.
